Cody Barfknecht
Senior Client Specialist, Private Wealth Management
In 2020, Cody joined Robert W. Baird & Co. as a client assistant in the Private Wealth Management office in Dallas. Cody has sought to provide the best financial solutions for clients based on their long-term goals and tolerance for risk. Using a comprehensive approach to wealth planning, Cody focuses on financial planning, retirement income planning, insurance, annuities and cash management.
Cody is a senior client specialist to Neil E. Grant, CFP®, Director of Private Wealth Management at the Baird office in Dallas.
Background
Cody's career in the financial services industry began as a teller at Wells Fargo in 2015. After being promoted to Personal Banker, he was offered a similar position with the Denton Area Teachers' Credit Union in Highland Village, TX. He spent four years with them, reaching the role of Assistant Branch Manager prior to moving to Robert W. Baird & Co. in August of 2020.
Education/Licensing
Cody earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree majoring in both History and Communications from Texas A&M University in College Station in 2014, where he was also a member of the Corps of Cadets. He currently holds the FINRA Series 7 and 66 securities licenses.
Personal
Cody is originally from Lewisville, TX and is currently a resident of Corinth. During his free time, he is a broadcaster of Lewisville Fighting Farmer football and enjoys hunting and fishing. Most importantly, he loves being a husband to his wife Megan, and father to his son Knox.
